Have you ever watched what goes on on reality TV shows and wondered where some of these people come from?

For me, it's wonder no more. ShowDog Moms & Dads premiered last night on Bravo. My friend's little brother, Ryan, and his boyfriend Brandon are a featured family of aspiring dog showers. Of course, the token gay couple. But if you're producing a show that follows the Westminster Dog Show and leads into Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, it's a must!

I'm really happy for Ryan and Brandon, because they're good guys. And I've known Ryan since he was in Kindergarten. A real sweetheart. I'm looking forward to upcoming episodes. But as we know from TV, the people on those reality shows almost always end up getting portrayed in a really bad light. Hopefully, nobody's going to look at Ryan like he's the gay version of William Hung.
